Live every moment

Hello everyone

My blog post today is well out of my comfort zone I think but I must say I enjoyed doing it.

I had an old cardboard box lying in my room so I cut it up and put it away thinking that I would use it, well I pulled it out again and turn it into what I think is not a bad effort.  I watch some videos on a few friends and think if only I could do that.

In my project I used my free stamps from Indigo Blu which I got from a magazine I had bought, some archival black ink, misting inks and some gesso.

I have decided to enter this into the

Indigo Blu Challenge

Sock Hop Sweetie Friday

Hi everyone
and welcome to my blog

Well its that Friday and my first week of my new job is nearly over, I can safely say I did enjoy it but a little tired.

Here is my card project of this weeks challenge over at

The Theme this week was - Pastel Colours

The card shape is made out of one sheet of A4 white card and made into a kind of stepper card.
This image I used for this was Sock Hop Sweetie My Besties available from our Sponsors below.  I coloured it in with my promarkers and cut it out with a Spellbinders Grand Decorative Oval and went round the edge of the die with a ink spot that I had in my stash, it was a nice light lilac colour.  I them made a faux oval by drawing round the inside of the next size and cut it out with my scissors.  I apologies I do not know the name of the paper design as I have it made years in my stash, I backed it with pink glitter card.  The border strips were cut from lilac card from my stash and the pink ribbon strips are from Red Hot Bed.  A company that appeared on Create and Craft years ago, demonstrator was Michelle Marsden at that time.  Clear gems were put into the middle of the little flowers.  The flowers I used on the front of the card were a mixture from Prima, Wild Orchard Crafts and artificial flowers I bought and took apart.  I used dew drops and flat backed pearls for the centres of the flowers.

Ours Sponsors this week are
